Powers and Abilities
Abilities Hand-to-Hand Combat (Basic): In his prime, Allan Quatermain was an able-bodied pugilist, often forced to rely upon his fighting skills while adventuring in Africa. As he aged and his health deteriorated, Allan's fighting skills waned. In June of 1898, Mina Murray commented that he was "over-rated as a pugilist".
Hunting: Allan Quatermain was a master at tracking and trapping animals for sport and profit. He once led Sir George and Henry Curtis on an expedition to find the fabled diamond mines of King Solomon.
Firearms: Allan is extremely proficient in the use of hunting rifles.
Strength level
In his prime, Allan possessed the strength level of a man his age, size and weight who engaged in moderate regular exercise. As he advanced in years, his health began to decline (due mostly to his addiction to opiates) and his strength level waned.
Weaknesses
Allan is chemically dependent on opium as well as the rare Taduki plant.
Equipment
Allan wore a chainmail shirt beneath his regular clothing to protect him from injury. [6]

Usually as a passenger on board the Nautilus.
Weapons
Allan has possessed numerous hunting rifles over the years, but his preferred weapon of choice is his elephant gun.
